COMPOSITION
Each 100 ml contains:
Oxyclozanide ………………….4.500gm
Cobalt Sulphate……………….0.382gm
Sodium Selenite………………..50.0mg
DESCRIPTION
Oxyclozanide is a salicylanilide anthelmintic. It is used in the treatment and control of fascioliasis in ruminants mainly domestic animals such as cattle, sheep, and goats. It mainly acts by uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation in flukes.
Cobalt compounds are used in the prevention and treatment of cobalt deficiency diseases in all food producing species. … In ruminants and horses, cobalt administered via the diet is finally incorporated into vitamin B12 by the microorganisms of rumen and caecum.
INDICATIONS
Clozanide-CS drench is a drug of choice for faciolasis and other liver fluke infestation like faciola , hepatica opisthorchis viverinc, afclivens and clonotchis sinesis and the liver fluke transmitted by the ingestion of infected aquatic plants, grasses of water, raw of under cooked fish, opisthorchis spp and sinesis. Selenium and cobalt provides additional nutritional supplementation to aid in the prevention and control of diseases related to the skin and hair growth.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
Administer the following does orally:
Cattle:
Administration 12ml per 50kg body weight by Increasing the dose to 80ml/350kg
Sheep & Goat:
Administration 4ml per 15kg body weight by Increasing 4ml for each additional 15kg body weight.
STORAGE
Store in cool and dry place, protect from light.
Keep out of reach of Children.
This medicine should be used according to veterinary doctor advice.
