COMPOSITION:
Each 100 ml contains
Amprolium HCL BP (USP)……..50gm
DESCRIPTION:
Amprolium is a coccidiostat (antiprotozoal) us for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in claves, goat, sheep, chickens,(broilers and breeders) and other fowl such as turkeys, with activity against Eimeria spp., Especially Eimeria tenella and Eimeria necatrix. It is a thiamine (vitamin B1) analogue and its pharmacological effect relies on competitive inhibition of thiamine in isloated second-generation schizonts of Eimeria spp,. And in host intestinal cells. Upon ingestion of amprolium, the coccidia experience thiamin deficiency and starve from malnutrition.
INDICATION:
Amprocox-50 is highly active for prevention and treatment of coccidiosis especially,
1- Ceacal and intestinal coccidiosis of poultry.
2- Coccidiosis of rabbits.
3- Ruminal Coccidiosis.
DOSAGE:
Poultry: 1grm Amprocox-50 per 3-5 liters of drinking water daily for 5 days.
STORAGE:
Store cool and dry place protect from light.
