DESCRIPTION:
Amprolium is a coccidiostat (antiprotozoal) used for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in calves, goats, sheep, chickens (broilers and breeders) and other fowl such as turkeys, with activity against Eimeria spp., Especially Eimeria tenella and Eimeria necatrix.
The combination of Amprolium and
Sulphaquinoxaline provides a synergetic effect and this combination is used successfully in the world for the treatment, control and prevention of coccidiosis. It is very effective against caecal and intestinal coccidiosis in poultry. Sulphaquinoxaline has an action mechanism of a sulphamide (sulphonamide). Acts as an antagonist of the Paraaminobenzoic acid. suppressing the tetrahydropholic acid synthesis, that is essential for the protoza growth. lt is highly effective as a prophylactic and therapeutic of the coccidiosis. Poultry: Eimeria tenella, necatrix, brunetti, acervulina, maxima, mivati, praecox, hagani, mitis
Turkeys: Eimeria meleagridis, adenoides, gallopavoms
Rabbits: Eimeria stiedae, perfoans, magna, irresidua Calves and
Lambs: Eimeria bovis, zuernii .
Vitamin K deficiency result in delay of blood clotting time, producing internal & external fatal hemorrhage especially during debeaking. Pecking and coccidiosis.
INDICATIONS:
Cocxifas is indicated for the Prevention and Treatment of Caecal and Intestinal Coccidiosis in Poultry.
DOSAGE (PREVENTION):
1gram per 4 liters of drinking water for 3 days.
(Treatment)
1 gram per 2 liters of drinking water tor 3-5 days.
