DESCRIPTION:
In poultry production, L-carnitine has a multi functional purpose, which includes: growth promotion, strengthening the immune system, antioxidant effects and improving semen quality. The concentration of L-carnitine in animals varies widely across species, tissue type, and nutritional status of the animal.
In commercial poultry diets, methionine is usually the first limiting amino acid.Furthermore, it has a function of increasing muscle mass, feather development and improving egg production in poultry. The importance of the physiological function of methionine must be emphasised
Choline chloride is used as an important feed additive in animal species, especially chickens. The role of choline in the prevention of conditions such as perosis and liver enlargement in chicks is already well known.
