DESCRIPTION:
Levamisole is an anthelmintic agent used principally for the treatment and control of a range of nematodes in domestic species and as a microfilaricide in dogs.
USES
NICLOVIT POWDER is a broad spectrum poultry wormer. lt is well used for chicken, geese and ducks for the treatment of gastro-intestinal infections in poultry.lt is effective against mature and developing immature stages of levamisole -niclosamide susceptible major stomach and tracheal species including capillaria,ascaris, heterakis, tenias, amidostomes.
BROAD SPECTRUM ANTHELMINTIC:
Used for treatment of worm infections in poultry.
Can be used before the symptoms appear.
Does not have any negative effect on lay hens and eggs. Does not need special food recommendation when administered. Healing effect of vitamin A.
Adverse Reactions
diarrhea & anorexia possible in high doses
INDICATIONS:
Used to treat “dwarf tape worm” hymenolepis nana. lt is also effective when used for pinworms or roundworms.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
NICLOVIT POWDER is a 10g granuled sachet with 24% active ingredients.The excipient is a sweet biscuit like, that makes NICLOVIT POWDER easy to give to poultry without single bird handling. The sachets can be given on their own or mixed with traditional food. Their is no side effects known to appear at therapeutic dosage.
10g suffisant for 15 kg feed of poultry
10 g dose is suitable for 10 x 1.5 kg birds.
Treatment should be given at 3 to 6 weeks old, in the mid growing period and 2 weeks before the finishing period. Another treatment should be given 15 days later.
Massive Infection:
A monthly treatment during the growing period should break the parasite cycle. Another treatment should be given 3 to 5 week later.
Routine worming :
1 to 2 administration in 2 to 3 weeks time ,then every 3 month.
STORAGE:
3 years,in a dry area, away from heat and light.
Keep away from reach of children.
