Progesterone Levels in Cattle. Progesterone is a steroid hormone produced by the corpus luteum (CL) on the ovary which forms after ovulation of the oocyte .If the cow becomes pregnant, the CL is maintained and high levels of progesterone are produced which helps to maintain pregnancy.
For the achievement of a better flock controls threatened abortion. It synchronizes heat periods in cattle, sheep & goat to get more progeny in small period.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle & Buffaloes:
(50-100mg) 2-4 ml for 150-300 kg body weight.
Sheep & Goats:
(Upto 50 mg) 1-2 ml
Bitch & Cats:
(2-5mg) 0.08 to 0.20ml
Shake well before use.
